2. What you are buying

A digital download bundle consisting of a PDF guide (130+ pages), an Excel pixel and power calculator (.xlsx), an editable Word source file (.docx), and a getting-started document, supplied together as a single ZIP archive. The price is £35 including any applicable UK VAT, as a one-off payment. No subscription is created and you will not be charged again.

3. How the product is delivered

Delivery is immediate and electronic. As soon as your payment is confirmed, a download link appears on screen and the same link is emailed to the address you used at checkout. Download links remain valid for 7 days after purchase. If your link expires or fails, email alexsnell11@gmail.com and we will issue a new one at no cost.

You are responsible for providing a valid email address and for downloading and storing the files. We recommend saving them somewhere permanent as soon as you receive them.

4. Your right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, consumers normally have 14 days to cancel a distance purchase. For digital content supplied immediately, that right does not apply once download has begun, provided you have consented to immediate supply and acknowledged the loss of the cancellation right.

You give that consent at the checkout page, where this is stated before you pay. Once you start your download, the statutory 14-day cancellation right no longer applies.

This does not affect our voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee, which is more generous than the law requires. See the refund policy.

5. Licence and permitted use

You may:

• Use the guide for your own work, including commercial work
• Print copies for your own use
• Edit the Word source file and add your own notes or branding for internal use within your own company
• Share the files with employees or crew within your own organisation

You may not:

• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the files, in whole or in part
• Publish the files or their contents publicly, including on file-sharing sites
• Share your download link publicly
• Present the material as your own work to third parties outside your organisation

Copyright in the guide and all bundled files remains with Alex Snelling, trading as LED Screen Guide.

6. Accuracy and safety disclaimer

The guide covers electrical work, rigging, and physical installation. It is educational reference material written from professional practice — it is not a substitute for a qualified electrician, a structural engineer, a competent rigger, or the manufacturer’s own documentation for your specific hardware.

Always follow current regulations, your equipment’s official documentation, and your own site-specific risk assessment. Electrical installation work must be carried out by a suitably qualified and competent person. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for loss, damage, or injury arising from the application of information in the guide.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the site and download service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update the guide’s contents; updates are provided at our discretion and are not guaranteed.

8. Payment processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. Stripe’s own terms and privacy policy apply to their handling of your payment information — see our privacy policy.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published at the time of your purchase is the version that applies to that purchase.

10. Governing law and complaints

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes fall to the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.

If something has gone wrong, please email alexsnell11@gmail.com first — most issues are resolved the same day. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the right to digital content that is of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, are not affected by anything in these terms.
